Create your own electricity to charge small electronics with a custom Sneaker with a built in pedal generator and power cell that stores a small current after every single step!

Electricity is not only a convenience, it is a NECESSITY in todayâ??s fast paced technological world. I have been working on some existing electrical pedal generators and trying to reduce the size and bulk of them to fit inside of an ergonomic sneaker insole unit. I created the Pedal Power Sneakers to take advantage of the mechanical movement of the human foot and create an effortless way to produce energy. Every time your heel touches down on the floor and pushes down the pedal, a small magnet moves along a conductor wire creating a small electrical current. This current is stored in a powercell located in the front of the sneaker. The wires are snaked along the sides and tongue of the sneaker leading to a super convenient USB port, capable of charging small electronics like phones, ipods, microphones, cameras etc. The walking / running experience is comparable to wearing to a light pair of boots. Obviously, future models would be more streamlined, lighter weight, stylish and more efficient, but this requires some more capital. Iâ??d also like to produce a simple app that would track how much energy is stored inside of the power cell. I really believe this is a winning idea because it gets at the CORE of what consumers are looking for: CONVENIENCE! This product will ABSOLUTELY make all of our lives easier! Never be without Power again!
